Los Angeles - Lima (Peru)
Depart from Los Angeles via Lima to Cuzco. Transfer to hotel upon arrival.
Day 2: Lima - Cuzco (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board a short morning flight to Cuzco, Upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon we will visit guided to the City and ruins near to Cuzco. This tour includes the best of Cuzco: the Cathedral, very important for its architecture and collection of canvases from the "Escuela Cusque?a" (Academy of Cuzco); the Temple of the Sun or "Koricancha", a classic example of the fusion of Inca and Western cultures. Its finely polished stone walls were used as the foundations of the Convent of Santo Domingo. The tour also includes the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel.
Day 3: Cuzco - Machu Picchu - Sacred Valley (B/L/D)
At the schedule time, we will star our visit to the most important Archaeological Building of the country Machu Picchu, citadel Inca located to 113 km of the city of the Cuzco by train. In the morning transfer the passenger from the hotel to the train station, after one hours and 20 minutes of trip we will arrive at our destiny, then we will take a bus and in 20 minutes we will arrive to the archeological park, here our guide will show all the natural, archeological and cultural beauty the unique place and the world. Lunch included. Afternoon you can shop in the beautiful arts and craft market, overnight in Sacred Valley.
Day 4: Sacred Valley - Cuzco (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the Hotel. A full day tour of the Sacred Valley, formed by the Vilcanota or Urubamba river. It begins in Pisac where people from surrounding communities converge on the tiny central plaza to buy and sell produce and supplies. In the tourist section of the market, the artisans sell a wide variety of handicrafts. After lunch, the tour continues to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where the locals maintain the original construction of the Inca citadel. Return to Cuzco.
Day 5: Cuzco - Lima (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Lima. Upon Arrival, transfer to the Hotel. At schedule time there is a tour of the city of Lima begins with the historic downtown that was recently declared by UNESCO as a "World Heritage Site" because of its numerous architectural buildings. This represents the strong European Middle Age influence. Important buildings to visit are the Government Palace or "Casa de Pizarro", the Municipal Palace, Lima's Cathedral, San Francisco church and convent with valuable works of art and stone and wooden structures and balconies of colonial houses. We will appreciate also "Huaca Pucllana": a magnificent ceremonial and administrative centre from Lima Culture. The tour ends with a visit to the modern suburbs of San Isidro, and Miraflores. San Isidro has modern apartment buildings and beautiful parks such as El Olivar with olive's trees brought from Spain in the 16th century and finally Miraflores with its Central Park and Larcomar Shopping Center that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
Day 6: Lima - Los Angeles
Today your homebound flight will bring you back in the morning to complete the pleasant tour!
