Today will visit Lima's most imposing
colonial churches and mansions such as the Government Palace, the Plaza
Mayor, etc.
Day 3: Cuzco (B/L/D)
In the morning, take a flight to Cuzco.
Upon arrival in Cuzco, transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Cuzco,
the former Capital of the Inca Empire, sightseeing includes visits to the
Temple of the Sun, the Cathedral with its magnificent collection of gold
and silver, the ancient fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the amphitheater of Qenko
and Tambomachay and the Royal bath of the Incas. Evening at leisure to stroll
along the quaint streets of Cuzco.
Day 4: Machu Picch (B/L/D)
Take a train to Machu Picchu. It is a
city located high in the Andes Mountains in modern Peru. It lies 43 miles
northwest of Cuzco at the top of a ridge, hiding it from the Urabamba gorge
below. The ridge is between a block of highland and the massive Huaynac
Picchu, around which the Urubamba River takes a sharp bend. The surrounding
area is covered in dense bush, some of it covering Pre-Colombian cultivation
terraces. Afternoon return to Cuzco.
Day 5: Lima - Los Angeles (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take a flight to Lima.
After lunch, last stop to the Indian Market for shopping of some handicrafts.
After dinner, transfer to airport fly back to Los Angeles.
Day 6: Los Angeles
Today your homebound flight
will bring you back in the morning to complete the pleasant tour!
