| RESERVATIONS,
DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT |
| |
A non-refundable deposit
of $300 per person per program and signed registration form are
required within 7 days of booking otherwise reservation will automatically
be cancelled. Deposits must be paid by check, direct bank deposit,
wire, money order or cash. Payment of deposit and/or final payment
indicates your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. Final payment
of the total program price is due 60 days prior to departure date.
The land and sea portion of your final payment must be made by check,
direct bank deposit, wire, money order or cash, but the air portion
of your final payment may be made by credit card. If final payment
is not received by the due date, your reservation will automatically
be canceled and the appropriate cancelation penalty charged against
your deposit. The land portion of the program price is guaranteed
once deposit is paid. However, airfare may increase before final
payment, and your payment of the deposit indicates agreement to
cover any and all airfare increases. Once paid in full, both the
airfare and tour price are guaranteed. Only currency surcharges;
flight schedule changes which require additional nights and cost
to be added to the package; and deviations from the original itinerary
at the request of the entire tour group will result in an additional
assessment from each passenger. We also recommend all travelers
purchase travel insurance at the time of deposit to maximize usage
of benefits.
The deposit is non-refundable
except in the case of death, which must be evidenced by a death
certificate. Refunds of deposits only apply to the deceased individual,
and not towards family members or friends who have registered to
travel together, however they may postpone without APF penalty (air,
cruise, and train penalties still apply) and apply their deposits
towards a future APF program.

| HEALTH
REQUIREMENTS |
| |
To ensure the smooth operation
of the tour, we recommend that travelers be in good health. Please
consult with your physician regarding your wellness and ability
to travel long distances. APF reserves the right to decline to accept,
or retain any person as tour participant, should such person’s
health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment
impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment
of other tour participants.

ft) in certain programs particularly for Peru and Bolivia. Please
consult your physician for proper clearance and preventative care.
|
| TRAVELERS
NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE |
| |
Any disability requiring
special attention must be communicated in writing to APF at the
time of booking. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on APF
programs, provided they are accompanied by a qualified and physically-able
companion capable of providing all assistance required, and do not
require special assistance from APF personnel.
Please note that most motor coaches, mini-buses and vans in Latin
America are not equipped with wheelchair ramps, and motorized wheelchairs/scooters
are not allowed. Many sightseeing attractions are not equipped to
accommodate wheelchairs.
River cruise vessels may not have elevators between decks. On stops
at different ports, steep stairs and pathways must be navigated
to get from the vessel to the road where tour buses can pick up
passengers for sightseeing. Most of the sightseeing is on foot.
Therefore, regretfully, we do not recommend these tours and cruises
to wheelchair bound passengers or to passengers with severe walking
limitations or other severe physical disabilities.
APF reserves the right to refuse to carry any traveler it decides
may require services and facilities that APF cannot guarantee will
be available in our programs. You agree to not hold APF responsible
for any decisions made by them or any service provider to refuse
to carry you, provide any special facilities or accommodation to
you or to provide any service to you.

an adult. If a child will be traveling with adults other than parents,
or with only one parent, it is the responsibility of the parent(s)
to contact the appropriate consulates and the applicable airlines
to ensure children have the required documentation for traveling
outside the U.S. Additional affidavits may be required by some airlines
when only one parent is traveling with the child.
|

| |
Our programs require a certain minimum number of participants per
departure. If this minimum is not met, APF reserves the right to
cancel the departure and will offer the next nearest departure dates
to the traveler.
|

| |
To ensure congenial
membership, APF reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a participant
and to expel that person from the remainder of the trip if that participant
exhibits behavior deemed incompatible with the best interest of the group.

departures may operate and sometimes in reverse order, in which
case hotels may vary from those stated on your tour agenda. For
all cruises, in the rare event of water level problems on stretches
of any river, it may be necessary to operate part of the itinerary
by motor coach. APF will make best efforts to adhere to your original
program.
